What is CU Unplugged?
CU Unplugged is an innovation-focused, participant-powered unconference designed specifically for the credit-union community. There are no scripts, no keynotes — just authentic, unscripted collaboration where attendees drive the conversations and shape the agenda.

How does an unconference work?
Attendees co-create the session agenda in real time. You choose the topics. You choose the conversations. Sessions are highly interactive, and participants can move freely between rooms based on what matters most to them.
Is anything recorded or documented?
Yes. Every breakout is automatically captured using AI-powered scribing. You’ll receive summaries of conversations — even from sessions you could not attend — so no insight is lost.
Are there networking opportunities?
Absolutely. CU Unplugged is built around authentic, meaningful connections. Expect organic conversations, collaborative breakout groups, evening meetups, and plenty of opportunities to build partnerships.
Do I need to prepare anything in advance?
No formal prep is required. However, many attendees arrive with:

Is there a registration fee?
Yes. $795. Be sure to register early, as space is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Open registration begins in December. In the meantime, complete the interest form above to be notified when registration opens.
Is travel or hotel included?
Travel and lodging are not included. The venue is located near San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
How do I stay informed?
Spots are limited — joining the interest list ensures you will receive updates as soon as registration opens, as well as future CU Unplugged events. Simply complete the interest form.
